Oh, how did we achieve this shot for the Curious Theatre Branch production of HIT ME LIKE A FLOWER? Easy. Standing in our backyard on an October afternoon, while a friend sprays a garden hose in front of the camera. That's a diffusion umbrella she's holding, with a Westcott FJ400 overhead--my version of letting the strings show!
