The Delaware State Police utilize specialized marine vessels to support law enforcement operations on the state’s waterways. These boats provide troopers with the ability to patrol waterways, respond to emergencies, assist with search and rescue operations, support investigations, and work alongside other public safety and maritime agencies when needed.

From protecting those enjoying Delaware’s waterways to responding when every second counts, specialized equipment like this helps keep both the public and first responders safe.

Another great example of the equipment, training, and capabilities working behind the scenes to protect the First State.

It’s Great to Be Back!

It felt amazing to be back at the University of Delaware for another football game and the start of the 2026 season!

There’s something special about being back on the sidelines with a camera in hand. I got the chance to relax, catch up with some amazing photographer friends, and capture one of the most energetic and talented groups out there the University of Delaware Marching Band!

It was an incredible day all around. Not only did Delaware Football bring home the WIN, but the UDMB had a huge win of their own with absolutely stunning performances both on and off the field. The energy, dedication, talent, and school spirit they bring every game never disappoints.

I’m incredibly excited to be back capturing these moments and telling the story of the UDMB throughout the 2026 season.

Here’s to another season of great music, unforgettable performances, packed stands, and plenty of memories from behind the camera! 📸🎺🥁

🏈 **FIRST RESPONDER APPRECIATION NIGHT AT DELAWARE FOOTBALL!** 🚔💙💛

Join us on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 7 PM, as Delaware Football kicks off the season against Merrimack and celebrates First Responder Appreciation Night!

The Newark Police Department is excited to be part of the celebration and help welcome Blue Hen football back to Delaware Stadium.

The Newark Police Honor Guard will take the field during the opening ceremony and the National Anthem.

🦅 Officer Soar will be joining the UD mascots throughout the game and making his way into the stands to meet kids, families, and Blue Hen fans!

Come out, enjoy a great night of football, support the Blue Hens, and help us celebrate the first responders who serve our community every day.
