Liz & Jimmy kicked off the weekend with their own garden party celebration on Friday—featuring a beautiful ceremony at the Lebanon Chapel at Airlie Gardens, followed by a stunning reception at The Dye Club in Landfall. It was no easy task narrowing these down to share. Spring showed up right on cue, just as we head full speed into wedding season!

Super dreamy light at the secret spot (🤣) a couple weeks ago for Rachel & Morgan’s engagement session. The warm temperatures, cold ocean water and on-shore winds made it a photographers dream as the marine layer pushed its way closer to shore. Had a great time exploring around and geeking out over the conditions with these guys, super stoked for their wedding later this year!

Even though we’re still a month out from the official start of spring, Friday felt like the real thing for Mari & Liam’s wedding at Wrightsville Manor. Warm sunshine, perfect temps, and a pastel-palette of spring florals set the tone for an incredible day. The energy was high for my first wedding of the year, and it has me counting down to long days, warm nights, and a busy spring wedding season!

December is typically reserved for long editing days, hiding from the cold and gearing up for the holidays, but I managed to sneak away to this beautiful waterfront property in the quiet coastal town of Sneads Ferry for Kenzie & Robbie’s engagement session. One of the few remaining small fishing towns where everyone knows each other and life moves a little slower.
