June 3rd 2026 AV-8 Harrier Sundown. Celebrating 55 years of the AV-8 Harrier VSTOL ATTACK!
First and foremost I would like to thank a lot of members in the Harrier Community for the support over the last 9 years. Big thanks to VMA-223 and others who made sure the AV-8 Harrier went out with a huge send off! I have spoken with a few AV-8A guys and a LOT of AV-8B folks over the generations in the last week and they all agree it couldn't have been better! I agree strongly.
In the images you see the final SSTO,Final TAV-8B pass,the final Section pass followed by the final Harrier pass including the TAV-8B where most Harrier Aviators started. Also the final final overhead break to land.
