Here’s my friendly PSA that engagement sessions don’t have to be super formal!

I always ask my couples to think about places or activities they enjoy doing together. What makes you feel the most comfortable? Because that’s when the real YOU shines.

Tess + Stephen did their engagement session at Wilmington’s best bookstore, Huxley & Hiro, followed by cocktails over at Roost (with one of my favorite espresso martinis I might add).

I already can’t wait to hang out with these two again for their wedding next month! ✨

When photographing gardens, I start wide and work my way to the details. I’m always drawn in by colors and textures working together. Oh and that good light.✨

Whether it’s your first time visiting Longwood Gardens or your hundredth, I’m here to make sure your proposal experience at the Gardens is memorable. ✨

I’ve been a photographer for Longwood for close to 10 years and it’s such a joy to share my love and knowledge of the Gardens for the planning process.

This couple flew in from Texas (!!!) for their first visit to Longwood and it sure was special. :’)

A couples session turned into a proposal session! 🤭

Jeff reached out to me about a proposal and we planned a session where about halfway through he would propose to Helen. We came up with a “code phrase” when we got to the location for when it was ✨the moment✨ (Yes I am an actress now btw!)

These two had such great energy together and I’m so lucky to play a part in these memories. 🥹
