CASTING CALL – WILMINGTON, NC

Hendy Street Produxions is casting for an upcoming cinematic commercial shoot filming in Wilmington, NC.

ROLE 1: “BEN” – LEAD

Male, around 30 years old
Relatable, everyday traveler energy
Reference type: Topher Grace (similar age/look, comparable hair preferred)

This character should feel natural and understated — someone who finds himself in an unusual situation and reacts with subtle confusion rather than broad comedy. Strong reaction acting and presence on camera are important.

ROLE 2: BASKETBALL PLAYER

Male, tall and athletic (around 6’3” or taller)
Black / African American
Strong athletic presence, comfortable handling a basketball
Basketball experience preferred (does not need to be professional)

This role will appear in a short basketball sequence and should look believable as a competitive player on the court.

Without Dawson’s Creek, we wouldn’t have had such a thriving film industry here in Wilmington, NC. We owe a ton to this dude right here. RIP James

While I never worked on Dawson’s, I did 2 seasons on One Tree Hill, which wouldn’t have existed without this groundbreaking teen drama. I got to meet James once and he was very humble for someone who had an award winning show for 8 seasons

Clark is currently working as a social media manager in Wilmington and continues to pursue opportunities in film and television. He has also taken on project-based work with Hendy Street Productions, where he previously completed a summer internship.
