The point of celebrating every part of your body isn't just about how good your b***y looks at that particular angle in that lighting. It's important for us to celebrate all of it because we're taught to be so critical of every part of ourselves that it takes all joy away from it.

OWN your butt, your thighs, your tummy, your back. They're yours and there is NOTHING wrong with them. And you can take back your power with that knowledge.

Today is my last shoot in my downtown studio. Tomorrow I finish packing, Sunday brings the UHaul, and the next week will be a whirlwind of unpacking and setting back up.

It's always scary for me to start shooting in a new space, but also incredibly exciting - I get the opportunity to stretch my creativity and skills and create new images that maybe wouldn't have been made before.

"I almost canceled."

And then they do it anyway.

Maybe confidence isn't what gets you through the door.

Women are taught to be responsible for everyone...the invisible labor no one notices until it stops happening.

And after years of carrying all of that, many women start feeling numb. Not because there's something wrong with them, but because they've spent so long taking care of everyone else that they've lost touch with themselves.

Then they wonder why they feel restless.
Why they're exhausted.
Why they keep thinking, "There has to be more than this."

That feeling isn't a problem to fix - it's a signal.

It's the part of you that's been waiting patiently to come back to life.
