It's fair week.
You can't tell me livestock kids don't love their animals.
You can't tell me they are heartless to raise an animal to feed people.
They put their hearts and souls into these projects that become best friends.
We have to say good bye to the last steer of 2026. Like every year, we are all having a hard time with it. My daughter takes great pride in her steers and creating a product that people will enjoy.
We will cry and and share memories. Then we will get started with her fall projects. The heifers are great heart healers.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. Those of littles who still finds cheerios in the couch cushions. The moms of preteens biting their tongues as they hear the new slang. Moms of teens who's hearts are in their throats as they drive out of the driveway. Those who's children have left the nest and you are watching them grow into the humans you wanted them to be. To the grieving mother who cannot hold their child physically, but hold them eternally in their hearts.

Do I tend to take LOTS of photos?
Yes.
Do I care.
No.
I still have openings for mom and me minis and am now booking summer dates for family and senior portraits!
Summer gets so busy around here and I want to make sure we capture some amazing memories!
