📣Very important announcement!!📣

I’ve put this off for a few weeks (maybe even months) because honestly, I dreaded having to actually say it 🥺 I also wanted to make sure I was confident in my decision.

After much thought, I will no longer be taking sessions for the foreseeable future (besides my last wedding this month). I may take on a few weddings next year with all new pricing but that will be my limit. I ask that you please don’t still message me asking for sessions. It’s been a hard enough for me to even be this transparent and I have a VERY hard time telling people no.

A few things that have led me to this decision are as follows. #1: Yes, I’m ok!

•My children are my FIRST priority. With them getting older, active in sports, at different schools etc.. it takes a ton of time and energy to get them to where they need to be. And honestly, I love it. They will only be little once and I’m going to soak in every moment. I want to be home as much as I can financially allow.

•My salon is insanely busy and my true passion. It’s my bread and butter and I cannot sacrifice my hard work that’s gotten me where I am. I found myself trying to take afternoons or mornings off to do a session or using my Mondays (only day off) to edit sessions. I was falling behind on getting them out and I cannot stand to think someone is waiting on me for something they have paid me for. It was affecting my mental health when I was genuinely trying my best.

•As many of you may know, my husband started a new job a few months ago and his schedule has drastically changed. What time we do get together, we savor. I found myself trying so hard to compare schedules to not be away when he was home and it’s just not working.

I’m sorry if I’ve dissapoointed anyone but I hope my reasoning explains what’s been going on. I highly recommend Brittany Leigh Photography for all of your photography needs. She’s at the same price level and skill set as me and does a wonderful job as well as lots of availability! Thank you to everyone who has supported me on the journey the last 3 years!

Congratulations to Nora and Shane! My favorite things about this wedding was the beautiful cross on the barn and the fact they used the same songs I did for both parent dances. Such a fun day!
