I was stunned the other night when the Oregon Professional Photographers Association awarded me the Honorary Fellow of Photography degree. I nearly broke down in tears. This is not a degree you can earn through competition. It's only given to recognize exemplary service to the organization, at the discretion of the Board of Directors. It's such an honor to receive this degree. The last several years have been challenging and rewarding as I served on the leadership board for OPPA. Through this experience I learned a lot about OPPA, myself and made some lasting connections. Thank you Oregon Professional Photographers Association for this honor.

Irva recently earned the tiltle of Grand Master in a national Bridge tournament. She needed a headshot for a magazine article about her achievement. With the backdrop of the city, her downtown Portland condo was a perfect location for her session. It was a fun morning with Irva. We had a great time chatting over shared life experiences and her fast rise in the world of Bridge competition.
