Quite literally shed some heartfelt tears, leaving this surprise engagement. There’s something so pure about young love that has not only lasted time but also flourished as it went on. Also, to have such a large group of friends to encourage, strengthen, support, and celebrate that love, with wholesome tears and laughter I might add, tells an even deeper truth to that love.

My name is Olivia Durphy, however my nickname is Baba Lou, it holds a deep place in my heart and carries the name of the brand I am slowly and intentionally building with the Lord.

Baba Lou photography started as an artistic, creative outlet for me almost 7 years ago. I was the one who was always trying to have photoshoots with friends, family, or by myself (ifykyk). I was always painting, drawing, creating anything that could tell a story. So, I leaned into the natural pull that photography or art in general has on me!! Through that, I have been able to partner with my best friend, Jesus, in so many incredible ways. He has set up divine connections, given me eyes to see beauty in anything, allowed me to capture moments for people that mean more than words could ever, and for that I will be forever grateful and forever in pursuit of creating …FOR HIM.

Baba Lou Photography exists to document personable, story-filled moments that are timeless for YOU. Moments that reflect the beauty of love, identity, and light. What I do here is rooted in my faith and identity in Christ and I pray it shines through, intentionally, in every couple, wedding day, senior celebration, and life changing moment. My whole purpose here is to partner with my maker to create images that honor both the sacred and whimsical memories of life… proving that life is beautiful and worth the living!

Please know that when you look at my work, you are also looking at the Lord’s craftsmanship too🥺 and that is my why. Everything is a reflection of divine design, creativity, and celebration of who we are meant to be!!

I’m so blessed and beyond grateful for the road He has taken me on with my cameras. I know it’s all worth it, when I see happy tears, hear thankful words, receive grateful hugs and messages, and give all the love I can.
