Michaela (yes we have the exact same name) and I have been internet friends for a while now.

We’ve followed each other and supported each other’s photography via social media for years. So when I posted about coming to Bar Harbor she responded and we figured out we were going to be in the same place at the same time!!!!!

It’s crazy how big but small the world is. And I’m so grateful to have met the most kind soul in person for first time.

Michaela and Haydn’s session was full of cold wind gusts and seal sightings. Our captain, Karl with Sail Acadia, was the best sport about the shoot happening in his boat and we even met and made the coolest new friends, &

I never thought I’d be able to photograph in locations like these. Central Park has always felt very iconic and untouchable in a way.

having the opportunity to photograph couples here honestly still feels unreal to me. The architecture, the city, the people, the New York chaos… I understand the hype. And it all lives up to exactly what I anticipated it to be.

getting to photograph in places like these will never feel normal to me and I mean that in the best way possible. It’s not lost on me how rare of an opportunity it is to be able to travel and to be able to photograph in such beautiful locations.

I’m always so humbled and grateful that my clients trust me to do this job. 💖
