Rainy wedding days have a magic all their own.

Today, gentle spring rain falls across the historic grounds nestled in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, transforming every leaf, petal, and pathway into something even more enchanting.

As a photographer, I can’t help but see each raindrop as a reflection of the journey ahead—every drop representing a smile shared, a memory created, a hand held through life’s seasons, and every embrace that will shape a marriage for years to come.

The skies may be gray, but the beauty is undeniable. Rain has a way of slowing us down, inviting us to be present, and reminding us that some of life’s most meaningful moments aren’t found in perfect weather—they’re found in the love we celebrate despite it.

Today is still a beautiful day. A day filled with excitement, anticipation, and the beginning of a new chapter.

Autumn in the Adirondacks drapes the mountains in a golden glow, where every leaf drifting to the ground seems to twirl just for us. The air carries the rich, earthy scent of nature reclaiming itself, and the wind hums gentle secrets only these ancient woods can keep.

It’s the kind of magic where Jack and Sally might wander hand in hand along a shimmering riverside, marveling at the world around them. As Jack exclaims, “What’s this? There’s color everywhere! What’s this?” - here, amid the forests and flowing waters, that magic feels alive, like the season itself is celebrating with us.

For our family, that magic isn’t far away -
it’s right here, outside in the fall, wrapped in color, laughter, and the kind of warmth that lingers in your heart long after the last leaf has fallen.

The sunshine is here and temperatures are finally above 70°—which can only mean one thing: beach season has officially arrived! Are you ready to soak it in?

With the warmer weather finally settling in, we just wanted to give a quick heads-up — we’re almost fully booked for May through October 2026! We’re only taking on a limited number of larger sessions and events next year, so if you’re thinking about booking a weekend for a wedding or any other special moment, now’s a great time to reach out!

Caitlyn and Sean braved the wind and icy waters meeting us along the coast for a perfect location! The best part? There was hardly anyone around, and those that were, were further down the shoreline enjoying the beautiful evening!
