Less than an hour from home and BOOM 💥 — the leaf spring on the camper breaks.

Of course, we had all kinds of RV prep stuff with us… except apparently the ONE thing we actually needed. 🤦‍♀️😂

So our camper got towed to my husband’s workplace and our little adventure came to an abrupt stop.

Moral of the story: You can never be too prepared for RV life… but apparently you can be prepared for everything EXCEPT the thing that breaks. 😂🚐

Some people are naturally good at reading a room.

They know when a couple needs more direction.
They know when to back off.
They know how to get genuine reactions instead of forcing a pose.
And they know how to turn two people who walked in saying, “We’re SO awkward in pictures” into a couple who looks completely comfortable.

That isn’t something you magically learn because you were born in a certain decade.

And honestly? I don’t think you have to be the same age, have the same music taste, dress the same, or use the same slang as your clients to connect with them.

You just have to know how to connect with people.

That Ring Deserves Its Own Photoshoot! 💍

This was an intimate, elopement-style wedding, so we didn’t have the extra time for all of our usual detail shots—including our favorite ring photos off the hand. But we still wanted to give them a few different ways to show off that gorgeous ring!

We love creating a variety of ring images because everyone has a different favorite style. Sometimes it’s the classic shot on the hand, sometimes it’s a close-up detail, and sometimes it’s something completely different.

The dogs were doing whatever the hell they wanted, and somehow we still ended up with THESE photos. 👀📸

Honestly, even I’m impressed by the magic we pulled out of that chaos. 😂

Proof that sometimes the photographer isn’t controlling the chaos… we’re just really good at making it LOOK like we did. 😏🐶

There was barking, moving, sniffing, distractions, and approximately 47 moments where I thought, “Well… this should be interesting.” 🤣

But that’s the magic of pet photography. You embrace the chaos, keep shooting, and somehow in between all the craziness… you catch the good stuff. ❤️🐶

And honestly? The crazier the behind-the-scenes looks, the more impressive the final photos are. 😂📸
