Some weddings are beautiful. Some are joyful. Every once in a while, one quietly holds both in perfect balance. Elise and Michael’s day felt effortless in the best way. Thoughtful, full of laughter, and surrounded by people who truly love them. Simply and absolutely perfect. 🤍

After eight years of building, refining, stretching, and dreaming, our new branding and website are officially LIVE!

I wanted this space to feel the way our work feels. Intentional. Refined. Deeply personal.
Editorial yet never distant. Elevated yet always human.

When you land on our site, I hope you sense warmth before anything else. I hope you see a team that moves with quiet confidence, that values connection over ego, and that approaches every wedding with care, artistry, and reverence for the moment.

Couick Photography exists because of the team of people who have stood beside me.
To the friends and family who check in, offer feedback, and help refine every detail, you know who you are…I am deeply grateful.

Most of all, I am thankful to my Savior.
Photography has never carried me. Jesus has.
Every opportunity, every gift, every open door, all glory belongs to Him. I will never be ashamed of that.

Here is to a new chapter at Couick
Photography.

More intention.
More refinement.
More beauty.

We are just getting started!

Tulum has a way of slowing you down in the best way. Warm air, thoughtful design, intentional moments, and a creative energy that reminds you why you started in the first place. From the bright colors to the sounds of continual waves at your doorstep, any wedding here is paradise.

Being in Mexico, creating freely, and then holding an issue of Southern Bride in my hands with my work inside of it was something I don't take lightly. Seeing years of quiet dedication, long nights, risks, and growth reflected back in print felt surreal. Gratifying. Humbling.

Above all, I’m thanking God every single day—for the doors He’s opened, the lessons learned, the patience required, and the grace to keep going when the path wasn’t clear. None of this is by accident, and none of it is mine alone.

This is a year of change in so many areas. Refinement. Growth. Stretching. Dreaming bigger and trusting Him more deeply than ever before. I’m proud of the work behind me, grateful for the people who’ve believed in me along the way, and genuinely excited for what’s ahead.

Love in DC
——
Some couples just click with me instantly. Alan and Eliana were exactly one of those. From the moment their inquiry came through and we finally met in person, I knew these were clients I dream of having. Easy laughter, meaningful conversation, and that rare comfort that feels like friendship from the start.
Traveling out of town is always a gift, but wandering the streets of their home in DC-laughing, talking about life, and dreaming out loud about what's ahead-made this session even sweeter. It's moments like these that remind me how special this work truly is.

Here are some highlights from last week’s wedding at The Ballantyne, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Charlotte. It is always so wonderful getting to photograph here. Cannot wait for the next!
