We are Sam and Jordan, a husband and wife team that run 10,000 Lakes Productions. We understand that the search for a good photographer can be a little difficult especially for big events in your life like weddings, your baby's first photos, or your daughter’s college graduation, etc. Nowadays it seems like everyone has a camera and can “take” a picture, but do they know how to make a good photogr
aph? Do they know how to tell your specific story? At 10,000 Lakes Productions we pride ourselves in delivering high quality images the right way and capturing those precious moments in time so that you can relive the fun and excitement of your special day over and over again. We believe it is our fiduciary duty to provide our clients with absolute professionalism and to share with them the love that we have for this special art. Sam served as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and became a professional photographer after attending the Defense Information School in Maryland and was one of only two Marine Combat Photographers in 2011 to be selected to attend the Military Photojournalism Program at Syracuse University in New York, an elite program that educates military service members into becoming better storytellers. As a military photographer, Sam had the great privilege of telling visual stories from diverse peoples in places like Japan, Colombia, Haiti, and many others. Rather than just picking up a camera and calling ourselves "photographers," Sam believes having an education in photography is an important factor to understanding the technical side of the industry so we can provide you with the most artistic and beautiful-looking images to place in your photo books or hang on your wall and enjoy with family and friends. When Sam and Jordan are not making photographs they enjoy walking their dog, Riley Bear, a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog who weighs 140+lbs and spending time in the great outdoors. We are located in Winona, Minnesota but frequently travel to other areas, so if you have a location in mind for your special day just ask!
