Baby the storm chaser was all ready for hunting some storms today but we didn’t get off work in time. So she settled for ice cream over tornadoes today!

Greg is with Vortex weather down in Northern Illinois today today and will hopefully be able to go live on some of the storms. I had to work last night and now waiting to see if there will be an afternoon/evening round that I can go on. We will post updates as we can and if there are storms later I will definitely be out on them. Then tomorrow I am doing a podcast with Northern Chasers so that should be fun.

The first image depicts the risk area for August 10, while the subsequent image corresponds to August 11. Although I am scheduled to work tomorrow evening, I have Tuesday and Wednesday off, which allows me to closely monitor the situation for potential storm chasing opportunities in Illinois. Due to work commitments, I have missed several storms over the past couple of months, and I am experiencing an increasing desire for the adrenaline rush associated with severe weather events. Currently, it appears that my plans with Baby will likely commence late Tuesday morning; however, weather forecasts are prone to change, much like frequent updates in daily life. Over the next couple of days, I intend to conduct an in-depth analysis of the forecast and attempt to position you, my passengers, in close proximity to severe weather.
