I haven’t posted a lot since my move to Greenville. That’ll be changing soon as I dust off the ole Nikon. This is my new favorite place of meditation. Under this tree on the lake off the trail. It’s gnarled branches remind me of the many paths we follow.

It’s been difficult uprooting my life in Winston Salem for a new job in a new city. I’ve been very busy getting things up and running here in Greenville, but sometimes I get to stop and really examine the beauty of this town. More to come.

Decided to hit the trails once they opened up. I was definitely rewarded with a beautiful hike and some great photos. These are from the Hawks Bill trail near in Boone NC.

Here are some photos I’ve taken over the past few days. Using some spare time to go through and edit some photos. I find it to be not unlike meditation — clear the mind and please the eyes.

Went out last night and took some photos. Sometimes a walk around the town can trigger the creative juices. We have such a lovely downtown, get out there and enjoy it.
