It was such an awesome session!! Proposals can be very stressful because I usually have to hide behind trees or in bushes to capture the moment he gets down on one knee. This one was different. Faith just thought that it was a couples session of the two of them and to get some photos of their sweet dog. It was planned that I would set them up back to back and he would then drop down on one knee and present the ring. Easy peasy… Well, little did I know that I would create a bit of a high stress moment anyway. I always tell the guys at the beginning of a session to take out any phones or keys in their front pockets or move them to their back pockets so their pants won’t be lumpy. It was at that moment I knew I…… I realized he had the ring box in his front pocket. 🤣 Michael and I made eye contact and Faith was looking at his pockets. I quickly got her attention and started setting her up for the first shots and telling her how to hold the dog. He carefully took out his keys and phone and was able to keep the box in his pocket without her ever noticing. Whew 😅 Lesson learned! I won’t do that again!! It ended up being an absolutely perfect proposal and she was totally surprised!! ❤️❤️
