I have been thinking a lot about what it means to be a woman, to be a girl in this world.
This year, I have been consistently surrounded by incredible women. Smart, kind, and beautiful. Each one has taught me more and more what it means to be a good friend. A good sister. A good daughter. And ultimately, what it takes to be a great mother.
I am so grateful I have been able to unlearn the societal belief that all women have to compete with each other to be one of the few "chosen favorites" because real women don't just support each other. They look out for each other. And when you finally realize that you see it everywhere.
The women who continue to show up even when it is hard. The women who love even when they are exhausted. And the women who break barriers just by living their authentic truth.
Each moment a reminder that it takes so little to show up for each other. To give compliments freely. Check in often. And to step in even when you are unsure.
Being a woman doesn't just mean living up to society's standards. It means being strong, capable, and compassionate.
