Miranda and Jeffrey met in medical school — where long days, late nights, and the pressure of becoming physicians have a way of showing you exactly who someone is. Jeff had a gift for making Miranda laugh, for reminding her not to take every little thing too seriously. And Miranda gave him something just as rare: direction, discipline, and the kind of steady love that helps a person become who they're meant to be.
They were goofy together. They survived together. And somewhere between the study guides and the exhausted laughter, days turned into years.
Jeff proposed just as residency was beginning — because why wait for the hard things to pass when you can face them together? Residency brought them to Florida, where they balanced demanding schedules with something beautiful: dreaming about their future. Planning a wedding. Building a life.
Now Jeff has graduated from emergency medicine residency, and Miranda is set to finish urology residency this June. They finally gathered their people and celebrated at Paradise Cove Orlando — one of Central Florida's most magical lakefront venues, tucked on the shores of Lake Bryan and wrapped in cypress trees, tiki torches, and the warmth of a perfect Florida evening.
We were honored to be their photographers. These two have given so much of themselves to medicine, to each other, and to the people around them. It was a joy to give something back — images that will last long after residency is just a memory.
