Recently had the chance to photograph the new Nochur Sankar Science Center designed by at the campus in Winter Park. The two-story building brings biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering programs under one roof, with flexible laboratories, modern classrooms, and collaborative learning spaces that support hands-on experimentation and interdisciplinary learning. Designed with adaptability in mind, the project creates an environment that can evolve alongside curriculum and technology, reinforcing the school’s commitment to innovation and academic excellence.

Set inside a former bell foundry in Olot, RCR Arquitectes’ office is a living manifesto of their work: raw steel, volcanic stone, filtered light, and a deep respect for time and place. More than a studio it is a space for making, thinking, experimenting and perhaps the coolest office space I’ve ever seen.

Perelada Winery is where minimalism meets magic. Tucked into the hillside, the space feels more like a calm underground sanctuary than a production facility. Plus, it’s the first winery in Europe to score LEED Gold, proving sustainability can look seriously good. This was also my favorite project of the workshop. Every room you walked into was a bigger surprise than the last. These spaces are all underground, wait until you see what’s above ground.

Perelada Winery is where minimalism meets magic. Tucked into the hillside, the space feels more like a calm underground sanctuary than a production facility. Les Cols Restaurant where blend a centuries-old farmhouse with quiet, minimal design. Soft light, steel and glass all shape the atmosphere. Chef Fina Puigdevall’s cooking leans into the land — seasonal, home-grown, and deeply rooted in La Garrotxa. A place that feels both humble and extraordinary.

We actually ate here for one of our dinners and it’s one of those once in a lifetime type of experiences where your taste buds are taken on quite the ride, in the best way possible.
