Recently, I realized I've been lying to myself for a long time. A really long time.. since I graduated college.
I absolutely LOVE traveling, and I absolutely LOVE filming.. but I don't absolutely love making travel guides.. I don't absolutely love having a video posting expectation schedule.. I don't absolutely love figuring out SEO, making videos that are 'trending', or thinking of 'shocking' click worthy titles..
What I did absolutely love was helping people. And at the time, the only thing I COULD help with was backpacking/travel tips.
But.. there's a big step inbetween leaving a life that doesn't make you happy and getting the life you want that you dont always see. And whatever that life you really want is, doesn't have to be travel related for me to help.
That big step comes from within. With finding yourself, your REAL self, not the one others 'expect' you to be. Not the one you feel like you 'have' to be.
The step where life really begins.
The step that leads to everything flowing to you so quickly and effortlessly.
The step where all fears just slip away.
The step that finally clicked within me, that I see so many people struggle with.. that I struggled with for so long..
That is what I'm meant to help people with. That is what I absolutely love helping people with. Finding your own power.
I can tell you how to backpack Switzerland on a budget, but you can't follow what I did to get there because everyone's paths are different. So how many does that really help? A few thousand? I can help more people then that.
I know I haven't posted videos in a long time, and this is why. I've stopped doing EVERYTHING I don't absolutely 100% love. And that's when this answer had a chance to show up.
I'll still be filming. I'll still be traveling with no end in sight. I'll still be posting pictures of the beautiful places I've seen and the stories of crazy adventures along the way.
But I'm switching the focus of my content.
I want to show you all not WHERE to travel, but what travel has taught me. How it was the gateway to learning about who I really am, so in turn I can help people struggling to find out who they really are π
