This day was filled with such joy. In Alexis’ favorite place, she and Nick promised forever during a perfect day filled with sunshine and surprises. From a private boat entrance at the Yacht Club to a sea plane wishing them well (scroll to the end!), Alexis and Nick took in every moment of their gorgeous day with presence and calm.

Of all the shows I attended during New York Bridal Fashion Week, one stood out as a clear stunner in terms of artistry and presentation. Perched in the Rainbow Room high above the city and glittering with crystals reflecting off of the gowns, Nardos’ show was filled with delicate moments of beauty. Complete with live draping and painting, we were all witness to creation in action. The show was about the collection, but it was also an immersive experience.

Just a bride and her girlies. The ones who have known you through it all. The ones who have laughed with you, cried with you, and held your hand through really hard things. The ones who knew when you were falling in love, and will stand by you in support as you say yes to forever. These friendships are a true gift.

Let’s talk about the night before ✨✨

Many of our couples are adding on welcome party and/or rehearsal dinner coverage this year, and I think it is simply the best idea ever.

If you’re hosting a night before event, having your wedding photographers capture these memories is priceless. The emotions, the anticipation, the hugs from family you haven’t seen in years—these moments deserve a spotlight in the story of your wedding weekend.

Jess & Rob exuded such easy joy at their welcome party, hosting with graciousness and remaining fully present. Documenting this night let us tell their story more completely, and we’re so grateful.

And that’s a wrap on 2026 graduation sessions! 🎓

Before I told love stories for a living, I used to teach them. For over a decade, I taught high school and college students about love through literature. And along the way, I got to know my students. I got to learn about their hopes, dreams, goals, and who they were growing into. Taking graduation photos every year lets me remain connected to just a glimpse of these stories. I get to document the love of college roommates and best friends, college sweetheart love, and the love these students have for the school that helped them grow and thrive. It’s a gift every single year.

So, thank you to these beautiful 2026 grads. It was an honor to tell a small part of your beautiful story.

Last week, I was invited to attend an incredible multi-day event with at the Inn at Perry Cabin. I still have much to process in regard to everything I learned, everyone I met, and every story I was told. But I do know that I am walking into a very busy wedding season refreshed, inspired, and with a renewed sense of purpose.

Thank you first to The Inn at Perry Cabin for your unbelievable hospitality. I am always happiest by the water, and a few days in the sunshine and salt air did my coastal granny heart so much good. The food was beautiful, the property was stunning, and the service was lovely.

To our speakers who inspired me endlessly, I am so thankful for you sharing your knowledge and joy with those of us in the room. I learned so much about hospitality, resilience, and becoming magnetic from all of you. . And a very special thank you to Daniel Kim , and for our conversation after over spritzes. It’s a true joy to see your love for this work in action.

Last but not least, I am so grateful for Samantha .co and Adriana for creating this opportunity. Thank you for creating a space for wedding professionals to learn, grow, and build genuine friendships. I am walking away from this week a better person, professional, and artist because of all that I learned and the people I met.

If you would have told me when I was a teenager watching Say Yes to the Dress and swooning over Hayley Paige gowns that I would someday photographer her work, I wouldn’t have believed you. But for the past two years, I have had the joy of photographing Hayley’s collections as she has made her comeback in the world of bridal. New York Bridal Fashion Week is always such a joy. To see living, breathing, art in motion is inspiring beyond words. These designers are so brilliant and so talented, and I love documenting the latest bridal fashion trends that I know will directly shape what my brides choose to wear on their wedding days. I’m so thankful for this industry and the art that defines it, and I love being just a small part of the magic. ✨
