Split Rock Lighthouse, carved into the cliffs of Lake Superior since 1910. Built after a storm wrecked 29 ships in a single night. It didn’t just guide sailors home, it warned them: this lake takes what it wants.

I’ve just got my print shop up and going. Every image in there is a piece of where I’ve been and what I’ve seen, and sharing that with you in a tangible way is something I’m genuinely proud of. If my work has ever made you stop and feel something, this is your chance to bring a bit of that home. Thank you, truly, for the support! Whether it’s a purchase, a share, or just taking a look, it all matters!

Check back regularly, as more prints will be added and available!

Well, the cat is out of the bag! I have decided to finally launch my own website, and further perusing my photography. I could not have done this without the help of my amazing wife!

The website is not 100% done, as there have been a few technical issues getting my galleries loaded.

Hoping to have the galleries and storefront up and going sometime next week.

To everyone who has supported me thus far, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!

Through my lens, I seek to tell stories of places that still breathe freely and beings that move with instinct and grace. Whether it’s a fox at the forest’s edge or a storm rolling over alpine peaks, I aim to capture the stillness, power, and wonder of the natural world.

Most of my followers know a bit about me, but for those who don’t allow me to introduce myself!

My name is Kyle, I’m a Wisconsin-based photographer with a soft spot for rugged mountains, desert sunsets, and anything that flies, growls, or stalks through the wild. Central Wisconsin is home, but my heart definitely wanders west.

I got into photography kind of by accident. During the pandemic, like a lot of people, I needed something to keep me sane. So I bought a camera, with zero clue how to use it, or any formal training, and just started messing around. Turns out, I loved it. What started as a way to kill time turned into a full blown passion.

These days, photography is my way of escaping the everyday chaos and reconnecting with the world around me. I love capturing landscapes that most people might never get to see in person, and wildlife in moments that show just how wild and beautiful this planet really is. Especially the apex predators and birds of prey, there’s just something powerful and humbling about seeing them through the lens.

Outside of photography, my world revolves around my incredible wife, who somehow puts up with “just one more shot” moments, and our two young boys, who are the best kind of wild adventure all on their own.

This page is where I share what I see, what moves me, and hopefully help you experience the beauty of nature in a way that feels real and raw. Thanks for following along, I’m excited to have you here.

Crumbled and forgotten in Rhyolite’s sunburnt ruins, this Union Pacific caboose rots beneath the desert sky—its broken frame and hollow windows a silent witness to something long buried in the shadows of Death Valley.

Framed by the rugged majesty of the Teton Range, the John Moulton Barn stands as the most photographed barn in the world, and it is easy to see why. This weathered icon of the American West is more than just wood and nails; it’s a tribute to the pioneers who settled here.

A reminder that even the harshest landscapes hold endless beauty if you take the time to look.
