Some of my favorite memories growing up are sitting on the floor, flipping through my parents’ wedding album over and over. I can still picture the feel of it; the weight, the texture of the gold cornered pages, the way they turned. And now as a photographer, I appreciate it on a whole new level, knowing that their entire day was captured on film.

That album isn’t just photos - it’s proof of the day their family legacy started.

If you were to ask me what the most underrated part of your wedding day is - I’d probably tell you the cocktail hour. It’s the perfect blend of “we did it!” and “let’s party!” with lots of snacks. It’s the time you get to hug all of your favorite people and grab a selfie with your college BFFs - and it’s the time you get to take a *quick* breath before the next portion of the night starts.
