I hope everyone has had a wonderful first half of 2026!

I am so grateful for the friends, family, and clients who have become friends over the past two years.

I wanted to give an update that I am pulling back from photography quite a bit to focus on my family and my “real” job.

Photography has been a fun outlet, but because I’m more fulfilled in my teaching job than I ever have been, I’m not feeling the need to stretch myself otherwise.

I will be honoring all current bookings and discussed shoots. I will also book with existing clients as my schedule allows.

Basically, I won’t be advertising my business anymore and will likely not be booking with any new clients.

Thank you all again for your support! This has been a fun adventure, and I have so much more respect for photographers than I ever did before! Pay your photographers well, people. lol it’s a lot of work!

I’ve been laying low recently since I started a new “day job”, but I have done a couple of shoots here and there.

One of my favorite shoots I’ve ever done I unfortunately do not have permission to share (fully respect all clients’ decisions to allow social sharing or not!), but the clients sent a very kind testimonial.

“We had a newborn photo shoot with Caelyn and we are beyond overjoyed with the quality of the pictures we received! Caelyn was very professional, and flexible in adjusting to our little one coming home early. She used different angles and rooms for different types of lighting to get a wide variety of shots and even did all the poses we requested. She got the pictures to us right on time and they turned out better than we could have hoped! We would happily recommend her to anyone looking to do a newborn photo shoot, you won’t be disappointed!”
