Documentary photography has my whole heart. My passion lies in capturing real emotions. Real life. Joyous and painful. Everything in between. Something about capturing these memories can just flood your brain and bring you right back to those moments.
Over the years, my mom and my boys have been front and center of my passion because they are my life. As much as my mom would say she doesn’t like her picture taken, I know she, as well as I and my boys, would be forever grateful for these real moments frozen forever in time. We will gaze at these photos with all the memories attached and reminisce about the amazing and loving grandma and mom and human she was to all of us.
This week we lost our mom in the physical sense, but we all have these moments that will help her live forever in our hearts.
While I will be taking a short break from clients in the next month or so, I know my mom would want me to continue my biggest passion as I continue to help other families freeze these moments in time as well.
My goal for the next few months is to share my favorite images from over the years. Whether personal or some of my favorites from past (and current) clients. I hope to convey the emotions I feel when I take these images and to make you feel something, too.
Thank you everyone for the continued support and thoughts at this time. It means the world to myself and my family. ❤️
