I’ve captured so many beautiful chapters of Jessica and Daniel’s love story that one Instagram post could never do it justice, I have to split them up into multiple posts! From their engagement session to not one, but two completely different wedding celebrations, I’ve been lucky enough to document their journey in all its heartfelt glory. This post is just a glimpse from their second wedding day — an intimate, soul-stirring celebration at the picturesque Martha-Mary Chapel in Sudbury, MA, followed by a joyful reception at the historic Longfellow’s Wayside Inn. Their ceremony was pure magic: tear-jerking, poetic vows that left everyone (including me) reaching for tissues. Then the party began! They made their grand entrance with boxing gloves on — and yes, Jessica won the playful “fight,” of course. The night was filled with laughter, an intimate cake-sharing moment, and even dance lessons right on the floor with their closest friends and family. Every detail felt so authentically them — romantic, fun, and deeply connected. Jessica and Daniel, thank you for trusting me to tell your full story across all these milestones (and even more milestones to capture coming up within the next couple of weeks!). I still have so many more favorite images from both celebrations to share soon. Your love continues to inspire me. ❤️

Even a gentle drizzle couldn’t dampen the joy radiating from Jessica and Daniel on their wedding day. Right after their heartfelt ceremony at the beautiful Martha Mary Chapel in Sudbury, MA, (which I’ll be sharing in a different post soon!) we stepped outside for a few newlywed portraits in front of the chapel. The overcast and soft rain created the most romantic, cinematic atmosphere — misty light, glistening grounds, and two people completely lost in each other. They laughed through the droplets, shared quiet forehead touches, and stole kisses while the rain fell lightly around them. These moments felt so authentic and tender: no perfect blue skies needed when the love between them was this bright. There’s something extra magical about embracing the weather exactly as it comes — it becomes part of your story, part of what makes the day uniquely yours. Love shines no matter the forecast! Will you embrace the weather on your wedding day?

From the very first ‘yes’ to forever, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside Marissa and Ross through some of life’s most beautiful chapters. It started with their engagement session—those golden-hour laughs and stolen glances that captured the spark of what was coming. Then their wedding day: the tears, the vows, the way they couldn’t stop looking at each other like the rest of the world had faded away. And now their maternity session at the gorgeous ..We kept things relaxed and intimate in the bright, open white space—perfect for letting them just be. No rush, no pressure. We flowed through gentle posing together, focusing on connection: Ross’s hand resting protectively on Marissa’s bump, their foreheads touching, quiet smiles as they talked about what parenthood might look like—the late nights, the tiny clothes, the overwhelming love that’s already here. These sessions aren’t just about photos; they’re about freezing the anticipation, the tenderness, the way two people become three in the softest, most hopeful way. Watching Marissa and Ross lean into this new season together reminded me why I love documenting love in all its evolving forms. Marissa + Ross, thank you for trusting me with your story from ‘I do’ to ‘we’re having a baby.’

Some traditions are beautiful, but breaking them can make the day feel even more yours. Jessica and Daniel decided to get ready together on their wedding morning—and honestly, it was one of the sweetest, most grounded starts to a day I’ve ever photographed. Instead of spending those quiet, anticipatory hours apart, they chose to be side by side: helping each other with the little details that mean everything. Daniel carefully zipped up Jessica’s corset and buttoned her dress while she adjusted his tie and smoothed his lapels. They shared soft laughs, stole quick glances, and whispered reminders of why this moment was happening. Getting ready together brings so many quiet benefits: it calms the pre-ceremony nerves (because nothing settles jitters like your person’s hand in yours), creates the most genuine, unfiltered candid moments, and lets you step into the rest of the day already feeling connected and calm. No separate stories—just one shared beginning. And the sweetness didn’t stop there. As they headed toward the ceremony, Daniel carefully held Jessica’s veil so it wouldn’t catch or drag, guiding her down the stairs with such tenderness. It was one of those small, thoughtful gestures that said everything about the kind of partner he is. Watching them support each other through every detail reminded me why these intimate choices create some of the most powerful images and memories. Jessica + Daniel, thank you for letting me witness (and document!) such a tender start to forever. ❤️

There’s something magical about a foggy sunrise at on the beach — that soft haze wrapping everything in a dreamlike glow as the first light fights through. Kayla and Michael showed up at the crack of dawn fully ready for the adventure, coffee-fueled and grinning like the early hour was no big deal. The stretch of sand was all ours — no footprints but ours, just the muffled rhythm of waves and that gentle mist rolling off the water. We kicked things off playful and real: action prompts that had them sprinting along the shoreline, spinning each other until laughter echoed, splashing lightly in the shallows with zero self-consciousness. Their joy cut right through the fog — authentic, unposed moments that felt like pure them. As the haze softened and the golden light started to break through stronger, we eased into something quieter. Traditional stills with hands clasped, foreheads together, stealing kisses, the sunrise haze creating this ethereal backlight. Then a few editorial poses — relaxed leans, soft gazes over the shoulder, frames that felt intimate and timeless. We ended in the ocean — toes in the water, ocean waves at their legs, holding each other as the light finally won and turned everything warm and golden. Kayla and Michael, you two made that foggy 5a.m. start feel like the best morning secret we shared! Thank you for bringing so much heart and zero hesitation. Quick sunrise beach engagement tips that saved the day here:
1. Always double-check the tide AND weather apps the night before — we timed low tide perfectly to keep the beach wide and dry, and the fog actually added mood instead of ruining shots.
2. Bring light layers and quick-dry options — mornings can be brisk and damp with ocean fog, but once the sun burns through, you’ll want to shed for those glowing water shots without shivering.

Mirbeau Inn & Spa is one of those rare venues that feels like a hidden gem every time I return. The dining room, in particular, is a dream for intimate events. With its clean white walls, rich natural dark wood beams, and elegant chandeliers, it offers a timeless, romantic atmosphere that photographs beautifully. The large decorative windows flood the space with soft, natural light—creating the perfect conditions for capturing candid moments, fine details, and the overall ambiance with warmth and clarity.

What I love most as a Photographer is how many unique angles and vignettes can be captured around just a single dinner table. From wide shots showcasing the architectural charm of the room, to close-ups of place settings bathed in natural light, every frame tells a story. The textures and tones of the room elevate the gallery without distracting from the people and the emotion—something every couple wants in their wedding or event photos.

The venue’s day-of coordination team is another reason I genuinely enjoy photographing at Mirbeau. They work seamlessly behind the scenes, ensuring the timeline flows smoothly while also thoughtfully decorating the room with elevated, tasteful aesthetics to match your chosen decor. It’s clear they care about every detail, and that care translates into a relaxed, stress-free experience for the couple and gorgeous photos for their gallery.

Photographing at Mirbeau Inn & Spa always inspires me. It’s a place where the natural light, stunning interior, and impeccable service all come together to create truly unforgettable imagery.

Alexandrea and Jeff’s elopement at the Boston Public Library was a beautiful reminder that even in the heart of a nonstop city, quiet magic can happen. The day was a whirlwind—Copley Square was alive with its usual rhythm: locals, tourists, honking horns, and a sea of passerby weaving in and out of the crowds. It was one of the busiest afternoons I’ve ever seen in Boston, and yet… we created space for something deeply intimate.

Right before their first look, I managed—somehow—to clear the front steps of the library. Timing, patience, a little assertiveness, and maybe a touch of luck made it all come together for just a moment. Alexandrea walked up those iconic stone steps to meet Jeff, and you’d never know that behind me stood a crowd of over 250 strangers, all respectfully watching in silence.

As they saw each other for the first time, the city paused. It was just them. And then, after their kiss, the crowd erupted into cheers. It was like something out of a movie—joyful, raw, unscripted. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do. Capturing love in the middle of chaos, holding space for emotion amidst the noise—it’s no small task, but it’s one that somehow feels natural to me.

This was, without question, one of the most challenging elopements I’ve ever photographed—and one I’ll never forget.

Alison, radiant and grounded, took time to connect with her baby, Kade, in one of the most natural ways possible—through earthing at the edge of the sea. As the ocean breeze moved through her hair, and her bare feet sank into the warm sand, she embraced the elements—earth, water, wind—drawing in calm, strength, and intention just days before birth…

Earthing sessions like this aren’t just about beautiful portraits. They’re a deeply restorative experience. Reconnecting with nature can help reduce stress, balance energy, and create space for mindful presence—something every mother deserves before stepping into the sacred journey of birth…

These moments aren’t posed. They’re felt. They honor the quiet power of motherhood and the deep bond already forming between mother and child.

As a wedding photographer, I’ve witnessed time and again how meaningful a first look can be. It’s a quiet pause, a chance to breathe each other in before the whirlwind of the ceremony. You get to share a raw, unscripted moment—just the two of you. For couples choosing a private vow reading during this time, it becomes even more powerful. If the idea of speaking your heart in front of a crowd makes you nervous, this can be a beautiful, pressure-free alternative.

Logistically, first looks open up your timeline in the best ways. With this extra window of time, we can capture pre-ceremony portraits of you two, your bridal party, and close family—giving us more freedom later in the day. After the ceremony, we can quickly gather any extended family or grandparents for photos or sneak away for more newlywed portraits in that golden hour glow—or you can head straight to your cocktail hour and soak in more time with your guests.

Not into the idea of seeing each other before the ceremony? That’s totally okay. You can still create an intimate moment with a first touch. Whether it’s separated by a door, around a tree, or standing back to back, a private vow reading in this way still holds all the emotion and intention without the full reveal.

Your day, your way—planned with purpose and full of meaning.

Thinking about including a first look or private vow reading in your timeline? Let’s chat about how we can bring it to life in a way that feels authentic to you.

Jaclyn & Colby’s love story is one of faith, adventure, and undeniable connection. From the moment they met through a friend in church group, they were inseparable—two souls drawn together, ready to explore life side by side. Their wedding at Roger Williams Botanical Garden was a dream come to life, surrounded by lush greenery, the love of their closest family and friends, and the promise of forever.

True to their adventurous spirits, their day was filled with joy, laughter, and moments that felt like pure magic. From heartfelt vows, handfasting by “tying the knot” under the canopy of plants from around the world. The night unfolded into an unforgettable celebration, filled with laughter, dancing, and a sparkler-lit sendoff that felt like something out of a dream. As newlyweds, Jaclyn & Colby are most excited for life’s simple joys—morning coffees, spontaneous road trips visiting historical towns, cafes, museums and the lifelong adventure of simply being by each other’s side. Here’s to their greatest journey yet!
