Some families have been such a big part of my photography journey as I approach my five year anniversary, and this family is one of them. šŸ¤

They trusted me with my Bump to Baby Collection when they were expecting big sisterā€”first maternity, then fresh 48ā€”and over the years Iā€™ve gotten to see them again for family and Christmas photos. Now, a few years later, they chose my Bump to Baby Collection all over again for baby brother. šŸ„¹

Getting to photograph that tiny newborn phase again, only this time as a big sister loving on her baby brother, was such a full-circle moment.

Thereā€™s something really special about being trusted to document not just one milestone, but a familyā€™s entire story as it continues to grow. šŸ¤

Model call for heirloom portraits!!!
Looking for ages infant (that can sit up without assistance) - 4 years old, boys and girls for the dates of September 5th or September 12th.

$100 participation fee for one child
(+$75 additional child/sibling if more than one child - this will add time to the session for the other child's shots as well as include their own 10 digitals)

10 digital images
(5 images in color and their black and white versions = 10 digitals)
Limited spots available.
Outfit provided, you just have to tell me their size so I can make sure I have it instock and ready for your child.

A studio update šŸ¤

Beginning **October 1st**, Kayla D. Photography will be transitioning from my current studio location into a **new in-home studio**.

I want to be transparentā€”this wasnā€™t a move I had originally planned. The cost of my current studio is increasing significantly, and staying would ultimately mean passing some of that increase along to my clients through higher session prices.

Instead, Iā€™ve made the difficult decision to bring my studio home.

The new studio will be a **dedicated space created specifically for my photography and my clients**, with my client wardrobe, backdrops, props, newborn supplies, and everything I need to continue providing the same experience and quality of work.

Iā€™m sad to leave a space Iā€™ve put so much into, but I also feel strongly about making decisions that keep my business sustainable **without unnecessarily increasing the cost for the families who continue to choose me.**

So while this next chapter looks a little different, Kayla D. Photography isnā€™t going anywhere. šŸ¤

**Same experience. Same quality. A new space to call home.**

Iā€™ll be sharing the transformation as the new studio comes together!
