Okay mamas… I’m toying with an idea and I need to know if this is something you would actually want. 🤍

A Mommy Mountain Retreat in the North Georgia mountains January 8-10.

Think cozy mountain house, wineries, really good food, slow mornings, time to read, nap, rest, make friends, and actually have a little space to breathe.

I’d also teach some fun, practical photography things like:
• how to use your camera without feeling overwhelmed
• how to take better photos of your kids
• how to find beautiful light
• how to get genuine smiles and connection instead of “CHEESE!”
• easy tips you can use with your phone too

But I do NOT want this to feel like a packed conference or another thing moms have to “perform” at.

I want there to be actual downtime. Coffee on the porch. Reading. W**e. Sleeping in. Laughing with other moms. Maybe a winery afternoon. Basically a weekend where you get to be a person for a minute, not just the one taking care of everybody else. 😂

I’m thinking a small, intimate group so it still feels really cozy and special.

For the next 24 hours, $75 from every Autumn Portrait Session booked will be donated to The Thanksgiving Basket Service Project, helping provide Thanksgiving baskets for families in need within Cherokee County schools. 🤎 My family and I will be gathering the items and putting them together beautifully into baskets this year.

I love that booking family photos can become something bigger. You get to preserve this season with the people you love, while also helping make Thanksgiving a little warmer for another local family.
