We are mid-renfest right now at the Georgia Renaissance Festival and for each of the themed weekends I have been changing out my window displays to go with the theme. Each week it gets a little bit... well, more! Last weekend was Clash of the Realms, cosplay weekend. I did an Alice In Wonderland theme. The week before was Crowns Companions, pet weekend. And opening weekend was Viking weekend. This weekend is Shakespeare Romance. Any guess on what I am making? Super excited about this one.

It's going to be a little real, a little personal today. Though I am exhausted, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. April 11th 2011, I opened my Etsy shop and started building this from the ground up, out of need to help support my family. April 11th 2026, is the opening weekend for the Georgia Renaissance Festival. Is it a coincidence that starting my business 15 years ago, and the opening weekend in my new building, land on the exact same day? The exact anniversary date? I think not. I never, ever thought I would be at this place. It has been incredibly hard and difficult. Owning and growing a business is not for the faint of heart. But here I am. Still. And now, I have a space that is mine. I couldn't have done it without the help of some very special people, but more about that later. I did chronicle the process, but have been working hard to finish on time so I haven't really been posting the process. For now, this is the work of our hands. The before, my vision drawing and the after. We will have a few details to finish before opening weekend. But we will make it. Celebrate with me next weekend on my anniversary and come to Georgia Renaissance Festival!

15 years of creating. And now a place to call home.

It is official: we are returning to the Georgia Renaissance Festival not just as guests, but as permanent residents.

For a decade and a half, I have carried these artifacts from studio to show. Now, we are building a permanent embassy for the Romantic Collector. This space is a milestone, yes, but it is also a launchpad. It is the soil from with the next 15 years of art will bloom.

Join us for the Grand Opening of our new sanctuary on April 11th. The walls are up, but the story is just starting.
