Previews✨️✨️

What a wonderful journey it has been with this couple.
Last summer, I had the absolute joy of capturing Ashley and Brayden’s engagement photos, and watching their story come full circle on their wedding day was nothing short of magical.

We had the most beautiful and photogenic day on camera. What you don't see are the absolute struggles of how humid and hot it became with the storms rolling in. Thankfully the rain didn't come in till late giving us some epic stormset photos.

With my full wedding post I'll share more of the day with you! For now here are a couple favorites that really highlighted the day and atmosphere 🥰

MaKayla and Bradley

First order of business.. when I say this man is dramatic I mean please send MaKayla some help. Mentally, Spiritually, Prayer... anything will do.
The water was too cold.. the sun was too bright.. he had to cooperate for a little while. It was all so much.. but he got through it. His favorite part was skipping. I didn't ask twice and he was trotting down the bridge.
Second order of business.. I'm going to need an emotional support animal to photograph his wedding. Nothing unreasonable, a clown will do.
Mckayla you're a strong individual and I loved hanging out with you!
You're both such fun people to be around! Bradley is quite the entertainment all by himself and McKayla is clearly his grounding person. I'll catch you guys in the Hook. Maybe we can get a TV host there for Bradley to audition for a drama role! Together they really are a perfect couple and bring unique energy to their relationship. Thank you for choosing me to hangout with you I cannot wait to do it again!

Mary & Tyler

A small preview of this beautiful, faith-filled day.

It's not often I photograph in traditional churches or local halls anymore, but when I do, I’m reminded of how much the intimate details truly matter. There is something deeply grounding about the close, warm feel of a sanctuary surrounded by a loving community. The soft light catching the stained glass, the quiet reverence of the wooden pews, and the beautiful backdrop of God's church.

There's something words can't quite capture in a union rooted so deeply in faith but you can absolutely feel it in the room. 💒

From the tender moments of getting ready with your closest family (and slipping into the perfect pair of lavender wedding converses!) to the raw emotion of the vows where there were tears and silent seconds to catch your breath in a crowded room, every second of Mary and Tyler's day was filled with purpose and heart. And ending the evening glowing in a dreamy wide-open field? Just absolute perfection.

Thank you both for inviting me into such a sacred, joyful space to capture these memories!
I can't wait to show everyone the rest!✨

You've met Dalton and Alicia!
Now here's just a tiny glimpse into their wedding day. 80 photos could only show you what the day looked like, but I hope these photos let you get a glimpse of the atmosphere. It was warm and welcoming. There was laughter, tears and everything in between.

From the quiet, nervous anticipation before the ceremony to the absolute joy of the celebration following, every single moment felt perfectly intentional. It’s one thing to document a wedding, but it’s another thing entirely to witness a room so completely filled with love and support for two people.

Thank you, Dalton and Alicia, for trusting me to capture these memories. Here are a few more favorites from a truly unforgettable day! 🤍✨

Thank you Bree from Your Vision Rentals for the beautiful wedding design and always on task coordination. You're a gem I truly enjoy working beside. I'm glad we've been by each other since the start 🫶🏻
Thank you Casandra owner of Bell Mountain for your incredible, always inspiring venue. You're always present and ready to meet client needs. You hold your venue well with cleanliness with the landscaping always held to the highest regard. I couldn't recommend this place enough.

A moment for the bride and groom. ✨

A day that revolved around an inevitable love that didn't sneak up on them. But a love that grew together. In all the tiny sentimental moments.

They grew up together, sharing the innocent chapters of childhood. As the years unfolded, life took them down entirely different paths, through different seasons, lessons, and growth. Yet, no matter how far those winding roads stretched, they never steered so far out of reach that their hearts wouldn't find their way back home. Some stories are just written in the stars like that.

Standing before each other on their wedding day, it was so clear that every twist and turn in their separate journeys was simply preparing them for this exact destination. The foundation they built as kids became the very ground they stood on as they promised forever.

It wasn't a sudden spark truthfully. It was a beautiful, steady flame that weathered time, distance, and change and came out stronger on the other side.

Here’s to the ones who were always meant to be. May the path ahead be the sweetest one yet! 🥂🤍

A preview of this beautiful day✨️

Two paths, one uniform, and a lifetime of love. 🔗❤️

When Cheverly and Mark first crossed paths as officers, they were working a tough job where trust was absolutely the forefront. Little did they know, they weren't just finding a reliable colleague they were finding their forever partner.

From the prison walls to the open pastures, their love story has evolved into something truly magical. These photos don't lie: they are quite literally radiant! The pure happiness and genuine joy on their faces says it all.

Mark has officially stepped into Cheverly’s world, embracing her deep love for horses and barrel racing and honestly, we think the cowboy look suits them both perfectly! 🤠✨ Watching Cheverly look so elegant on horseback in her stunning gown was an experience she dreamed of. I'm glad I was there to ensure the dream came to life. 🐴👰‍♀️

While the day carried the quiet weight you had no idea existed, beautiful new beginnings were woven into the fabric of their ceremony and family. 🤍

Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs.! May your days be filled with open trails, fast runs, and a love that only grows stronger with every passing milestone. 🥂🍂

While revisiting Spring let's also stop back at the Arboretum that became so full of life and vibrancy. Exactly what we needed after a long cold Winter we thought would never end. Spring is a sign of life. A sign of hope that the warmer days are coming. Ive been blessed with these girls in my life and I love hanging out with them! Letting the children be children in a setting they'll have fun in usually gives me the best photos. Every now and then a bit of sas from the youngest but after some time she generally warms up again 💁🏼‍♀️. These girls illuminated the flowers, picked the dying ones from the ground but occasionally cuffed a pretty one. We never wander into a garden looking for the dying or the dead. Instinctively, our hands move toward the prettiest ones in the field the ones fully in bloom, holding all the color. Like the flowers the girls are so full of life. A beautiful reminder that as mommas we're simply just growing our own garden with our own little wildflowers. 🫶🏻

Nancy's Family

Let's take a second to revisit this beautiful Spring session since I neglected to post my spring photos. 🤦🏼‍♀️
In light of having the opportunity to hang out with this family tomorrow for a wedding I wanted to showcase the incredible people I have the opportunity to capture again! Literally the kindest people and most energetic children. We had so much fun chasing the blossoms around the loop and making silly faces for the photos! I can't wait to do it again!

Spoke with Mother Nature (his agent), and due to overwhelming popular demand from everyone messaging me for daytime photos... I officially got the gig! 🙌🏻

Turns out he’s a total professional when the lighting is right. Look at that golden hour glow! The smize? Impeccable. The range? Unmatched.

(Smize: the act of smiling with your eyes while keeping your mouth natural)

The Fine Print: I did have to cater his meal as a one-time-only negotiation deal, mostly just to ensure he didn't run off with the actual plate again, that is now inside for the summer.. 🤫 Swipe through to see him inspecting the catering, checking his angles in the sun, and giving me that classic "is my agent getting their 10%?" look.

Standard headshots remain firmly out. Tree hugging (and bird feeder raiding) is in. Honestly how do you get mad your birds (which are your favorite thing to photograph) aren't getting their feed when there's a face like this looking at you. 🥹

DISCLAIMER: This is a wild animal, he is treated as a wild animal. I do keep my distance and have long range camera lens. I am fully protected and always have obstacles between us and a safe space to work from. Safety First Always!

This bear is likely a last years cub, roughly 16 months based on his habits. Mommas will chase off their young so they can breed again. He's not very big maybe 120 pounds, doesn't (yet) show signs of aggression because he's still learning. Everything scares him including our free roaming chickens(they have a coop for nighttime) and penned up rabbits. He doesn't bother any of our livestock or their living quarters. He'll move along though. Right now he's in this phase where he wonders until he finds a place he calls home. Wildlife Biologist recommend removing all sources of food for 1 full month to help push a bear along to a new location. We've moved our trash inside. All our chicken feed was moved into the garage and my feeders were put away. Once he realizes the buffet is gone he'll likely get bored and start a new route. Making our yard boring will ensure we're doing our part to keep wildlife wild. Back to the berries and bugs for him. Hopefully he goes before my Wineberries decide to rippen 🙌🏻🫣

Congratulations to this sweet couple!
Your journey is just beginning and if these photos are any indication, your life together is going to be full of laughter, adventure and a whole lot of love with a ton of trust (thanks for not dropping her in the water🙌🏻)!
In the historic Coburn Tunnel darkness we captured some dramatic cinematic vibes. Outside the tunnel we stepped into a beautiful sunset glow that showcased them in the best light.
At the creek we kicked off the boots and wade into the cold mountain water with a deep reflection of the trees and mountains illuminated by a burning sun.
To say we had a great time is an understatement. It didn't take long for them to relax and be comfortable inside the frame. Their movements were effortless and their personalities made it the exciting time engagement photos are supposed to be! If you follow the prompts, relax and trust me we'll get the absolute best photos and have a wonderful time doing it! 🥰
