Dreaming of wildflowers am waiting on Spring….
For Whitney’s wedding, she just went into her own neighborhood and collected wildflowers to line tables and have decor pieces for her wedding. Adding small bud vases she sourced from thrift stores and her personal collection make the tables feel so beautiful and delicate. I loved her creative spark and the willingness to allow the flowers to be whatever they found roadside. Would you do something like this for your wedding?

One thing we love to do with every couple is the “end of the night” photo. We say goodbye to the wedding and plan the shot reflective of their experience of the day and what the couple wants to remember when they look at this moment captured like time in a bottle.

Ashley and Kyle’s photo says they danced a ton. Kyle tossed off his tux jacket, say by to the bow tie and his crisp button down. We love that he kept his suspenders and added the sneakers. Ashely changed her dress, and added matching sneakers as well. She’s been dancing a storm and her hair had fallen so it was in a messy bun. It was last call at the bar so the bartender slipped her one last drink for the night.

Just after this photo, they exited the wedding for an after party at a nearby hotel on the roof. And this photo is one of their favorites from their wedding day.

It’s 2025… there’s something we need to talk about. It’s AI. You’re out there, booking professionals for your wedding, and the game is changing. AI is a great tool, and there are so many options in how to use it to aid our business. You as a bride, may not know it’s possible to use AI to completely and totally take care of the post-processing of your wedding day.

Thats right; from selecting the photos to use to tell your story, to actually editing the photos, and then presenting them to you, AI can do it all. But should it?

Ask your photographers how they are using AI in their business and make sure you not only understand it, but are comfortable with it.

As a long time professional, there’s no way a collection could be sent to a client without me having seen and touched every photo. That personal touch will always be so important to us. We know something AI doesn’t- YOU. Which smile you’ll love, the way the light hits during portraits… these are the things AI can’t keep up with.
