To my Empty Nest friend and followers, sorry I haven't been posting lately. I had a rather bad accident at home two weeks before Christmas resulting in several fractured ribs and a concussion. I'm recouping slowly at home after being in the hospital. I don't know when I'll be up, around and photographing again but please know that when I do, you'll know it!!! Thank you!

Incredible October thunder storm at dusk tonight. I saw lighting streak horizontally thru the eastern sky, just above the horizon. It went from E to N (Rt. to Lt. as I saw it outside my window) and continued for about 1/2 hour. Then the sky cleared and the full moon came out!
