Childhood Milestone photo sessions are AMAZING.
I have a couple of clients who have done portrait sessions around their kids’ birthdays every year since birth and when I say that are great, I mean soooo great!
First, the kids grow up embracing fun things about themselves and things that they are into at different ages/stages of life at these sessions, which is just downright FUN.
Second, as parents, they have a history of professional photos of their children growing and changing over the years and it’s BEAUTIFUL.
Third, while the toddler years are inevitably tricky, the middle years of childhood when the kids really buy into the session and bring their own ideas and suggestions to the table in the planning and ex*****on, it gives them a sense of self expression and ownership that is empowering and just down right COOL.
Not everyone can invest in this for their kids, but for those who can, I cannot encourage you enough to embrace this idea! It is so worth it.
