I'm not sure how to say this, but I'm gonna need EVERYONE to be in full ball gowns from now on! This was such a dreamy session, Staci is stunning😍 Staci just turned 15, and in Hispanic culture if you're a girl that's a BIG DEAL! You have a whole wedding style event, known as a quinceñera, and you wear basically the biggest dress you can find that makes you feel like a princess and the entire celebration is about you. It's amazing and in case anyone is wondering, yes, I will absolutely be having a quinceñera for my daughter...I have 10 years to save for it!🤣 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

When a parent says “he doesn’t really like taking pictures,” I take it with a grain of salt. The truth is, teen boys just don’t like being cheesy and that’s usually what mom wants as she’s trying to take photos of them everyday, all the time, for what seems like “no reason”. As a mama of teen boys, I get it, so I got you!

The whole reason I picked up a camera was so I could capture all the best moments of this guy in these photos. He wasn’t even a year old and I knew I just needed to freeze all the memories I could to just hold onto them and his littleness for as long as possible. And here we are, his senior prom🥹 I’ve done exactly what I set out to do from the beginning, and while I ended up creating a business I never imagined that I am so grateful for along the way, he’s my true why!

Last week my husband and I took a trip that has been a dream of ours since the beginning! This year we will celebrate 20 years of marriage and decided to finally make our dream come true so we went to Italy🥰 We fell in love with all things Italy and made unforgettable memories that we will cherish as part of our story! If you ever get the opportunity to visit this beautiful land of floral lined streets, rich architecture and gelato - DO IT!!!!! I was already missing Italy the moment we stepped on the plane to come back, it’s truly magical!✨

This might sound weird, but one of my favorite things to do is fold laundry and watch a movie…by myself. Nothing says I’m a mom in my 40s quite like that haha but I don’t care. I’m a busy body, though I don’t intend to be it’s just a given as a mom of 6, so folding the laundry gives me a sense of “doing something”, not just sitting there and watching a movie I want to watch is so relaxing. Also, the “by myself” part is of note😏 What’s something you know is by no means considered enjoyable, but YOU love it??
