Downtown Wytheville "A Story of Revitalization" (linked below) is my second documentary of the year and I couldn't be more excited about it. Nationally recognized Main Street America has nominated Downtown Wytheville as a Top 8 Semi-Finalist to be in the running for the "GAMSA" Greatest American Main Street Award in the entire nation!

Thank you to Downtown Wytheville, for selecting my small business to produce this film to tell the story of its revitalization efforts over the last decade as it was an incredible honor and opportunity I couldn't turn down.

Rooted deep in the endless hours of editing this film, the struggle and frustration effortlessly disappeared as my passion for storytelling, and love for my hometown became paramount. It drove me to help create something great, not just for the semi-finalist video submission, but more importantly for our local community to showcase the hard work that Downtown Wytheville has done over the last decade that can be easily looked over, or quickly forgotten entirely. Here's to Downtown Wytheville for their success while becoming one of...if not THE, Greatest Main Street in America.

A special Thank You to Todd Wolford for his guidance in telling the story with our hours spent together during the editing process. Also, thanks to all of the talented photographers sharing their featured photos, Ryan Anderson, and Dan Caudill are also to be mentioned for their supporting video clips of downtown gatherings, and the interviewees that made this story come to life.

What an evening at the Millwald Theatre! It was amazing to see community members and organizations come together in fellowship to listen to motivational speaker Jim “The Rookie” Morris, and to also learn about other community impacts and non-profits the Wythe-Bland Foundation have supported by watching a heart felt documentary I created over the last 4 months. The event wouldn’t have been possible without those non-profit organizations, and the community they serve.
I’d like to give a special thanks to .summers, .jackson.52056223, , , , and for their time, expertise, and technical support to make it all come together for a near FULL auditorium! As well as my close friends and family who came out to support me and my first major production for the big screen. Thanks To All
