I have a new page!

My old personal Facebook account that ran my photography page got deleted, so the only way I've been able to post is through Instagram, which is still linked. But, I've had no way to get in to respond to messages, edit things, etc, so I am moving over to my new page that I have full admin over. Mia - Class of 2025

Happy Senior Sunday to the 2025 seniors!!

This week's shoutout is to Hazel! Hazel made everything look so effortless in front of the camera. I love how her outfits had so much variety. I'm in love with the green dress she wore for her first outfit; the fabric flowed so smoothly, and the pop of color was so unique! 🌿 It really complimented her eyes!

I also love that she wanted to spend the majority of her session barefoot because that's how she is most of the time. It kept the photos true to her 🤍

Happy Grad Year to all the 2025 seniors! One of my goals is to post all my seniors again this year, so I'm going to try to get caught up! Starting with Jocelyn!

We had a part 1 and part 2 for Jocelyn's photos! We got to our location on the planned date, with the forecast saying possible clouds and maybe a light sprinkle, and it was POURING rain 🌧

We drove back down the mountains and did some quick photos at a campground instead, then rescheduled her session back at the original location for a different day.

Shoutout to her and her parents for being so positive through it all!

2024 is coming to a close and I am so grateful foe this year! For me, 2024 has been:

-Finding a new work-life balance as a teacher who is running a photography business on her days off.

-Capturing weddings for some of the sweetest couples I've ever worked with!

-Spending time with seniors who impress me with how amazing they are.

-Enjoying family sessions with repeat clients who I've gotten to watch grow up.

-Slowing down and making sure I'm leaving time in my schedule for my family, my friends, and myself.

I'm excited for the challenges, adventures, and lessons that are waiting to be tackled in 2025 🎊🎆

Last Last night, I finally got to check seeing the northern lights off my bucket list ✔️

I was SO bummed when I missed the aurora borealis superstorm last May. I went to bed and woke up to the biggest FOMO seeing everyone's amazing views.

After that, I got an app to track potential northern light shows.

Last night, when the app said there was a 5% chance of spotting the northern lights, I packed up my camera gear expecting to just see some stars. I didn't get my hopes up, but figured I would give it a try. When I got to cowiche canyon, I was so excited to see a little bit of color showing up in the sky! I got my tripod set up and took some long exposure shots and I am so happy with what I captured!

One of my favorite things is watching past wedding clients go from families of 2 to families of 3 🤍

Audrey & Chris are the sweetest, most loving couple and they are going to make fantastic parents! It was such an honor getting to visit their hometown to capture their growing family! Thank you forever for trusting me with these precious memories 🩷
