Family photos aren’t just for families with little ones. 🤎

I know I photograph a lot of families with toddlers and young kids, but there’s something so special about documenting this stage, too.

The kids who aren’t so little anymore. The daughters who are growing into their own people. The family dynamic that changes as they get older, start driving, graduate, head off to college, and eventually build lives of their own.

These seasons can feel so ordinary while you’re living them, but someday, you’ll want to remember exactly what your family looked like right now.

So yes, book the photos while they’re little. But don’t forget to keep documenting them as they grow, too. 🤎

I seriously can’t wait to get back to photographing this season. The golden leaves, cozy colors, crisp air… it’s easily one of my favorite times of year to be behind the camera.

A sweet little family of three, a baby boy on the way, and the most beautiful evening at Tipsoo Lake. 💙🏔️

I absolutely loved this session. This family was so sweet, calm, and present, giving me the space to slow down, explore, and create. And honestly, that’s one of my favorite things about mountain sessions. There are so many beautiful little spots and views at Tipsoo Lake that I could photograph here for hours. ✨

Mountain adventure sessions will always be my favorite 🤍✨

This session was such a good reminder that the best photos happen when you simply show up and enjoy your family.

These two did such an amazing job just being present with their girls, going with the flow, and letting the moments unfold naturally. No pressure, no stress, just lots of cuddles, giggles, exploring, and soaking up time together.

And can we talk about their outfits? They matched this beautiful spring backdrop perfectly. 🌿✨

These are the kinds of sessions that make my job so easy and so much fun.
