Family sessions are supposed to be calm and relaxing... said no photographer ever. 😂

This session included running, sweating, chasing, weird noises, bribery, and me questioning my cardio. Business as usual.

I've been photographing this family for years, and every session is different. We don't force anything. We follow the kids, roll with whatever happens, and somehow, it always works out.

Honestly, my favorite photos are never the ones where everybody is standing still and smiling at the camera. They're the ones in between. Mom laughing because everything has gone off the rails. Dad just going with it. The kids being completely themselves.

Those are the moments that actually mean something.

I've watched these kids grow up, and getting to be the one who captures these memories year after year is something I'll never take for granted.

So if your family feels a little chaotic... good. Mine too. That's usually where the best pictures happen. ❤️
