Getting tour of local hang out spots from a local, nice meeting strangers off the internet and having it go well. Got to see a couple local kids jump the falls, too cold for my scrawny arse.

Day 3 of being elbow deep in the Samurai. Inspect Everything! At the first sign of a Hack Mechanic doing work, there’s usually more. According to the Seller this should have made the 3.5 hour drive north… thankful that someone didn’t buy this and try to jump on the highway. Wheels were falling off, front shackles need replaced, Bluetooth U-Bolts, broken driver side birfield wouldn’t allow it to turn more than 10*, wiring was an absolute fire hazard with no functioning headlights and 1 tail light. Extremely thankful for Leroy letting us crash in his camper and rip this apart for days in his barn, we will be tearing into his 1980 TourGlide to try and get that running correctly.

Too bad the Sammy was too far gone, but it turned into a job for profit and working on a full size RWD is WAY more gooder than a Fking FWD car.

Thank you for those that have been concerned enough to check on me. It has been a bit hectic with the transportation issues the last week, Anne and I are both adapting to having another set of Capable and Willing Hands that are happy to help, for two people who are used to Solidarity and Self Reliance being the only option, it’s going great. I don’t even have the Vocabulary to explain how nervous I was for my Daughter to meet her, not because she isn’t absolutely Amazing but because my Daughter’s opinion is the one I value above All Others. Tomorrow we will load the car with the tools needed to replace the clutch in an F-Superduty with an IDI and ZF5 as supplying the Parts and Labor is most of the payment for the new car that’s 4 hours away in Pennsylvania, letting the good times roll and creating the soundtrack as we go.
