I faced my anxiety and it turned out like this…
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Hey! In case you couldn’t tell by my avoidance of Instagram. I am shy and socially anxious until I feel safe. Sometimes I feel safe right away and That’s how I know I am with my kind of people!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On those rare occasions all the anxiety monsters are let free. Leaving me to be creative, playful and completely myself.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I got to practice facing my anxiety fears when I was invited to photograph with a small group of local photographers, models and hair and makeup artists.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I really wanted to go but I almost didn’t because of my anxiety.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Well all the people were amazing! We all had a blast collaborating and I have now worked with several of them many times. We cheer each others wins and help make networking fun.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sometimes staying at home is the kindest thing to do if your overly anxious. However when you have the spoons (capacity) for it take, take the chance and show up.

Spontaneous romance is my favorite, and this moment was like a Disney princess moment come to life right before me. These two are disgustingly adorable *swoon*.

Do you feel like you never have enough time to update your headshots? Unique and I had less than 10 minutes and we showed so many different sides to her personality! If you have ten minutes you have plenty of time to make a big impact for your brand. My next limited headshot day will be on May 28th!

I guess it’s because I don’t see them every day, but somehow photographing returning families makes me feel more nostalgic. These adorable humans break and swell my heart every year with their growth and creativity. You fellow parents get it right?
Besides homeschooling, being an assistant Scout Master and a micro farmer, Deanna recently found a passion for sewing and she made shirts and cardigans! They were all made specifically for this session and they look amazing. I am going to go update my family prep guide now!
