Well Phill predicted 6 more weeks of winter. One of my kids is very excited the chance of snow is still there, one is skeptical if the scroll choice, and one was very upset!

Before the snow melts though I would love to get up to Mount rainier for a session! It will still be snowy through April at least, so if you want to get something on the schedule now is the time! I’m picturing a cute little vintage or wood sled, lots of layers maybe some fur and scarves and hats and mittens!

I was also thinking for the spring/summer how fun it would be for like a family or couple that likes to roller skate to hit the Yelm trail and do a photoshoot with the theme “doing things you love” What do you love to do?

Have you booked your photoshoot yet? Now is a great time for studio milestones - sitter session, cake smashes, yearly updated portraits. Also booking for spring, summer & fall 2026! Or bundle up and let’s head outside! Lots of layers and textures of winter clothes make for great photos!

We are so excited to offer Valentines BOUNCE HOUSE minis! These are going to be so much fun for the whole family!! Parents are welcome to sit in the bounce house while the kids jump and knock the balloons around or just let the kids have fun! Glasses, XOXO and heart headband props provided for the photos!

Located at our home in Yelm Sunday, February 1st!

If there is over 50% chance of rain, the reschedule date is set for Sunday February 8th OR in studio with balloons and a cream backdrop worst case scenario.

This session was an ADVENTURE! (As are many!) We arrived at the location not a soul in sight! We were the only ones! It was supposed to rain - we were prepared for anything we thought! Sessions going great, weather is holding out, yay! It’s starting to get dark and a little wind picks up. She wanted to dance in the leaves…she’s dancing, I’m taking the photos and I hear a HUGE crack! The tree directly above me has broken in half and starts falling straight towards me! I RAN! She didn’t notice and is still dancing in the swirling leaves!! The wind started howling we ran to the car a quickly got out of there! Unforgettable senior photos.

I’m always so concerned with rain, but this was a reminder to watch the winds especially near the Columbia gorge!

Hello friends! Gosh it has been a while! Spent lots of time with family and friends during the holidays and I’m officially back at it and excited for the year. I still have so many beautiful sessions to share with you all. Here are a few updates ••••••

💕❤️ I will be hosting Valentines minis for the first time in years! These are going to be so fun and unique I can’t wait to share samples! Self booking for those will be live by late next week!
