A little Tahoe magic from this recent wedding ✨

Also hi… yes I know I’ve been a little MIA on here lately 😂
But this time of year I really try to lean into slower days with my babies, my people, and just life outside my camera. We’ve been deep in baseball season, soaking up time with family visiting from all over the US, and honestly just enjoying the chaos in the best way.

But we’re officially coming to the end of my “slow” season… which means we’re stepping into my favorite season — wedding season 🤍

Kicking off my second wedding of the year here soon and I seriously cannot wait for all of my incredible couples this year. It’s going to be a good one.

We’re bringing creatives together for a styled wedding shoot at Hunter’s Place ✨

Set in the lavender fields on May 30th, this shoot is designed to capture a full wedding day experience with two real couples and a 2–3 hour shooting window.

Think: ceremony + florals, reception details, cake features, sunset portraits in the lavender, and first dances—all styled and ready to create some magic.

There is no fee to participate—just an opportunity to collaborate, build content, and help showcase this beautiful new venue while promoting your own work.

We’re welcoming a small, intentional group of creatives:
Photographers (limited spots) + 1–2 vendors per category (photo booths, bar carts, charcuterie, etc.)

Currently looking for videographers (drone preferred) 🎥

Last year’s weddings have me counting down the days until this season starts. It’s already shaping up to be another busy one, and I truly feel so blessed with the couples who have trusted me to capture their day.

Also working on something new this year… I’m rolling out a shorter wedding package option (around 2–3 hours) for couples who want beautiful photos without the full-day coverage. Lake Tahoe truly showed off for your day, and I’m still not over how beautiful and intentional every moment felt.

This might sound crazy… but I think micro-weddings are officially my all-time favorite. There’s just something so intimate, emotional, and magical about celebrating with your closest people.

And winter weddings? Completely underrated. The soft light, the cozy vibes, the mountain backdrop — perfection.

&& while I was convincing the hubs to step in as photog for my updated headshots… I also convinced my cute little kidlets to jump in for a few updated photos too.

Photographer truth no one tells you: we spend all year reminding everyone else to update their family photos — and sometimes forget to schedule our own. This was my little reminder that our memories deserve a spot on the calendar too. 🤍
