HE IS PRECIOUS!! This sweet boy was all-in for his newborn session 💙.

I KNOW!! I’ve been missing for weeks. Just like social media, the weeds climbing up the front of our house have also been refused of my attention. But… as always during this time of year, I have to prioritize and give my schools the focus and attention they need… as well as getting those galleries delivered on time without rushing through them. So, social media (and my weeds) don’t always make the cut. My oura tells me I’ve been doing a lot of paddle sports (this is not the case).

I am in Crete today for some awesome band and choir photos…but the drive home will be focused on thoughts of Holiday Mini set-ups and wrapping my head around fall. I’ll probably comprehend that fall is here when it’s time for Christmas. Cheers to all of you…I hope fall is wrapping you in all the joy.

I Interrupt these sneak peeks to give you a glimpse of why I love what I do. Yes, I love all the adult friends I make during photo sessions…but it’s the little friends that steal my heart ❤️.

I will never forget the moment as a college student when a gentleman came up to me and said “I have a vision of you surrounded by children someday. I don’t know what it will be, but they’re just surrounding you”. You can imagine it threw me off a little. Outside of the fact I didn’t know this man, I wasn’t accustomed to someone having a type of foresight about my life without having ever met me. However, despite being a one time crossing of our paths… it was a memory that stayed in my subconscious mind except for an occasional recollection.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When this sweet little girl’s mom sent me this photo, she likely had no idea the emotion it would trigger (in the best way)…and the memory of that moment long ago. I needed that memory more than I realized ❤️.

So, if you need a little reminder today that you’re right where you need to be, look for the little God whispers that might be buried under the pile of to-do’s and the stress of everyday details ❤️. They’re always there, we just have to listen for them.
