Faustian event that will change the face of America. Last week the majority of voters sold their souls for cheaper groceries. The ultimate payoff is the food will Tate bitter sweet as a vindictive dictator robs them of their American birthrite of liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The promised pogrom is scary because it mimics Hitler’s Germany where the weak, the feeble, Jews, g**s etc were rounded up.

Terry Hershey (Sabbath Moment Daily) shared to wisdom of Mary Oliver this morning.

And we derail if we assume than the answer is to “fix” or “solve”—some kind of need for control.
Grateful, today, Mary Oliver gave me a sanctuary.

I Worried
I worried a lot. Will the garden grow, will the rivers
flow in the right direction, will the earth turn
as it was taught, and if not how shall
I correct it?
Was I right, was I wrong, will I be forgiven,
can I do better?
Will I ever be able to sing, even the sparrows
can do it and I am, well,
hopeless.
Is my eyesight fading or am I just imagining it,
am I going to get rheumatism,
lockjaw, dementia?
Finally, I saw that worrying had come to nothing.
And gave it up. And took my old body
and went out into the morning,
and sang.

Black Rock Mountain State Park is the park with the highest elevation in Georgia. Seeing that a rainy weekend was coming, we set out to visit the park even though it was cloudy.
