“Soak it in, it goes by so quick.”

I used to say that too.

But after photographing more and more weddings, I started noticing what those words actually do to people in the middle of one of the most meaningful days of their lives.

It quietly turns the day into something fleeting.
Something they’re afraid of losing before it’s even over.

And suddenly, instead of fully living it; they’re trying to hold onto it, trying to remember every second, trying not to let it slip away.
