Hey y’all!
I am Jasmine. Mom, fitness enthusiast, reader of books, nature lover, and photographer.
I’m a little too lazy and uncomfortable in front of the camera. But I was thinking last night that I need new photos for my rebrand for my website so since I was already dressed for a shoot I had done earlier, I asked Keira if she would go with me to get some photos.
She did good. I’m so proud of her and hope as she grows, she finds more passion (more passion) for what moves her.
That’s all we want as parents. Our children to succeed, to have an amazing relationship with our small versions.
Keira has been around the camera all 15 years of her life.
I started photographing because of her! (And Violet was my first newborn session!)
Bought a little Sony NEX camera to document her life and boy has it bloomed! One question turned into 4 hours and a whole gallery later! I was approached by a friend asking me to take her senior photos. I didn’t have much faith that I could deliver a professional quality experience so I said let’s just have fun! And we did. I’m laughing because I hauled her all over SW Florida 😆 in summer. But she loved her photos and I loved taking them. I promise my shoots are not 4 hours long! But that took my liking to taking pictures so I did it as a hobby - to look what I get to do now! I have traveled, I have captured so many beautiful people and experiences with my lenses. True moments and emotional moments have my heart. It’s not always about the perfectly posed photo. I want photos on my wall that make me feel like home.
When you speak about your photos, let your photographer know what style you are looking for because we all capture differently. I like to think I capture more candid and some emotional(tho I always put in some traditional too). I love to laugh! I try my best to quickly learn my clients and work that way, we will always have a fun time. Don’t worry I ask lots of questions so you are as comfortable as possible! And remember these are your memories! Print them! Put them on your wall so they make you feel like home too!!!
