One of my goals for the new year is to capture that perfect Milky Way shot. This picture is my reference point to compare how I grow through the year. There are many technical errors in this shot because I wasn't intentionally taking the shot. The app Star Walk misled me as to the location of the milky way so I just started shooting around me without any focus on composition to find the milky way. This was one of those shots. Also December and January are the worst months to shoot the Milky Way.
